Boomer is warming up to bench press over one thousand pounds and run a mile in one minute in preparation for Captain America stopping by Boomtown Days Saturday August 27th, 2011. Friends and fans of Captain America will be able to visit him in the Children’s Area throughout the day. Bring your cameras as he will be taking pictures and passing out autographs all at no charge.
Captain America will be hot off the promotional tour for his July movie release. As many of his fans know, Captain America is the alter ego of Steve Rogers. Rogers was enhanced by an experimental Super-Soldier Serum and “Vita-Ray” treatment to become the perfect human specimen. Captain America is true to his name with his costume bearing an American flag and he carries an indestructible shield that can be thrown as a weapon.
