NEVER SHOUT NEVER

Fresh off their first tour of 2010, Never Shout Never joins the other headlining acts in kicking off the 9th annual Boomtown Days Festival. This will be the band’s Welcome Home party to celebrate the release of their new album “What is Love” (in stores, January 26th) and the return to their hometown since their quick rise to stardom. The band gained fame in the summer of 2008 when they became the most popular unsigned band on myspace.com where the current number of song plays is nearing 130 million. Their summer EP release made iTunes top 10 most downloaded albums shortly after release and they were later signed by Warner Bros. records before going on to win the “Breaking Woodie” new artist award on MTVU in December of 2009. Their music style could be described as fun and energetic indie rock with some acoustic styling.

Ethan Gibson
Takes the stage at 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 10th, 2010
Ethan Gibson, a Missouri based singer/songwriter, has been doing it solo for almost two years now. Coming from a background of metal bands, his work can come as quite a shock. With influences ranging from City & Colour, Keith Urban and Carter Hulsey to worship type artists, Ethan’s music is easily relatable to all sorts of music lovers. His debut EP hit iTunes November of 2009, with a new EP slated to hit iTunes in August of this year.
